Harvey Principal

Listen to my Podcast!

Welcome to the Harvey School website.  Thank you for visiting.  I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about myself.  I have worked with Kenosha Unified School District for thirteen years.  I began my career working with first grade students at Harvey Elementary School!  I then went on to teach fourth and fifth grade enrichment, followed by eighth grade math at Washington Middle School. Before becoming a principal I worked for three years as the Dean of Students at McKinley Middle School.  I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree, Master’s Degree, and my Teaching credentials from Carthage College.  My Administrator’s credentials are from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.  Some of my hobbies include: running, reading, and watching American Idol.

I have found Harvey Elementary School a great place to learn and grow!  We are fortunate to have a caring, knowledgeable team of individuals who work collaboratively to provide services to Harvey students and families.   At Harvey we put an emphasis on student learning and academic excellence.  We are determined to see every student succeed.  As the principal my goal is to work hand in hand with teachers, students, families, and the community to ensure that students are actively engaged in their learning and that they learn at high levels.  While working closely with all stakeholders over the past few years I believe that trust and a strong sense of community has been developed.  I look forward to continuing to build relationships and partnerships that will help all students to realize their potential.

I strive to be visible and accessible in order to provide needed support.  If you have questions, concerns, or comments you may contact me by email, sdaley@kusd.edu, or by phone, 262-359-4040.  Again, thanks for visiting the Harvey School website.
