Harvey Elementary

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching for 14 years.  I taught 2 years at Vernon Elementary, 7 years at Grewenow, and 5 years at Harvey.

I have a bachelor degree in elementary education: grades 1-8; with a minor in English. I also have a masters degree in Teacher Leadership.

I participate in the tactic two team at Harvey.  I also have been involved in the Black History Bee, supervise the Harvey Roar, tape and edit the Friday announcements, and assist with the Battle of the Books team.

I have taught three years third grade enrichment and two years of fourth grade enrichment.

I was born in Boulder, Colorado.  I have lived in McKeesport, Pennsylvania; Langley, British Columbia; Arcadia, California; and Kenosha, Wisconsin.

I am married to a chemical engineer and have raised four children, two boys and two girls.  I have three grandchildren and three more on the way.  I have taught English 7 times in the Czech Republic and 5 times in China during summer vacation.  I have directed the children's choir and handbell choir at Kenosha Bible Church.  I am also the missions chairperson at Kenosha Bible Church.
