Birthday Information

  • Special recognition will be given to each child on their birthday if you notify me. We will not automatically celebrate a child’s birthday without notification from you due to religious or personal preferences.
  • When we celebrate a birthday at school each child will be given a special birthday hat to wear and take home.
  • He/She will be able to select a special gift from the Birthday Box and we will all sing “Happy Birthday” to your child.
  • If you would like to bring treats to celebrate your child’s birthday that would be great!! Children are always excited to pass out their birthday treats! Treats need to be store bought and not made at home.
  • If your child has a summer birthday, you may celebrate it any time during the year. You might choose to have a ½ birthday or wait until near the end of the school year.
