Welcome to Third Grade

BBBBRRRR!!!

Please remember to dress your child for the weather. Students are outside unless the weather is below 10 degrees. If your child wants to play in the snow; they must be wearing boots AND snowpants. Children need hats and gloves to help them stay warm outside.

CURSIVE/KEYBOARDING

We've completed all the letters (upper and lower case) in cursive.

It is my expectation that the students write ONLY in cursive for the rest of third grade.

We've learned how to touch keyboard. This means all students should be able to type without looking at the key board. They should also have their fingers on the "home keys" and return them to this position after striking a key. Please allow them to practice at home.

There are many websites for the students to use for additional practice. Below are the websites from KUSD.
