Hi students and families! One of the exciting events that took place in October was a trip back in time to Hawthorn Hollow, located off of Green Bay Road. Students were able to see for themselves what a day in a one-room school house would have been like in 1906. Activities included a reading lesson, math on slates, reciting a poem, and cursive writing with old-fashioned ink pens. What a great experience we had!
We are now delving into our study of Kenosha in social studies. News on a adventurous project will be coming soon!
